User Interface
Tailored User Interface to Fit Your Organization
PIC User Interface is a powerful application development framework that
delivers easy-to-use, easily tailored Oracle®
applications User Interfaces for Microsoft®
Excel or a Web browser. This solution enables customers to quickly build
user-friendly and flexible front-end applications that meet their business needs
while seamlessly integrating with Oracle security and business logic. It also
provides business users an intuitive way to accomplish complex tasks using a
familiar yet powerful tool: Microsoft Excel.
Increase User Productivity and Reduce Development Cost
Some organizations find that the standard Oracle application User Interface
(UI) flows do not meet their needs. PIC UI allows these organizations to combine
as many as 15 standard Oracle pages to simplify the steps required to achieve a
task. Combining such UI steps into a custom streamlined UI increases the
productivity of business users and reduces training costs.
PIC UI enables the rapid development of custom UIs at a far lower cost than
other alternatives.

A Custom Fit using Microsoft Excel
PIC UI leverages Excel’s powerful UI design features and enables customers to
quickly build powerful applications that fit their business needs. These
applications also provide customers a user experience tailored to fit the way
their organization does business
Integration Leverages Oracle Applications Technology and Security
PIC UI is certified with the Oracle E-Business Suite Applications 11.5.x
technology stack. It leverages the business logic in Oracle public APIs to
perform validations, update the Oracle schema, invoke workflows, and more. PIC
UI uses the standard Oracle Applications security model for authentication and
security, and provides a login approach that is consistent with Oracle
Applications in the enterprise.
Work With Oracle Data in Disconnected Mode
Users can connect to Oracle using Excel, download data, and then work offline
on the Excel workbook. Later they can re-connect to Oracle and synchronize the
updates made in Excel with the Oracle database.
