Challenge:
Foremost Farms, a world-class supplier of cheese, was using the standard Oracle Project Costing Functionality to implement a basic "capital project functionality flow" utilizing the standard integration of Oracle Purchasing, Payables, and Assets. In addition, they were using the basic Oracle Account Generator workflow. This only included the standard delivered packages with use of Oracle Projects driven account segment generation for requisitions (if needed), purchase orders, and invoices in Oracle Purchasing and Payables.
Foremost Farms had six weeks to Go Live where one CRP and UAT will be conducted, so timing was crucial.
Solution:
Project Partners was chosen to implement Project Costing Release 11.5.8 (Capital Project) and integrate it with Oracle Assets. Capital Project expense transactions are now managed efficiently via clearing account and journal entries.
Outcome:
Foremost Farms successfully went live with Project Costing within the 6-week deadline:
